I heard this quote on one of those DIY TV shows and thought, that’s what I do! I try to use materials to make jewelry that would have otherwise been trashed.
I hope we all agree that climate change is real, and that something has to be done now if it is to be stopped. It sounds overwhelming,
I am using my art to communicate the need for change and to call attention to the problem of climate change. The small amount of material it takes to make jewelry isn’t much in the scheme of things, but each one of us doing many small things can make a difference in the world.
Here are some new earring designs I made from rescued plastic food containers in beautiful spring colors.
