We love where we live, and this new exhibition of paintings by Elizabeth Barenis celebrates just that -- the vibrant colors of plant life in St. Petersburg. Sometimes we need only look as far as our own backyard to find beauty, and these acrylic works highlight the backdrop of our everyday lives here in Tampa Bay.

The opening reception of Natural Beauty: New Paintings by St. Petersburg painter, Elizabeth Barenis will be May 20 from 7 to 9 pm at St. Pete ArtWorks Gallery. Enjoy light refreshments and live music by Jeff Hughes. The show is free and open to the public. It runs through June 11.
