Bridal Wedding Jewelry: Part 1

This beautiful bride commissioned me to design a bracelet to match the pearls and Swarovski crystals on her dress and her veil. The bracelet appears to float on her arm. This bracelet can be made in any color and to fit any size wrist.

What is Wire Wrapping?

I love wire wrapped jewelry.  And I love to make it. Almost any small object can be enclosed in wire to wear. And it’s easy to carry your supplies with you on a trip or to demonstrate at a show.  Each wire wrapped artist has her/his own style. Some are quite fancy. Mine are usually very simple, because I like to enhance, not hide the beauty of the stone or object.

Wedding Jewelry: Part 3

The Irish Knot Ceremony was held outdoors in March. The beautiful bride wore a necklace that she designed herself. This completely original design is made from a deer antler, hung asymmetrically to one side, and beads on the other. I was honored to be asked to wire wrap the green diopside pendant  for her in sterling silver! Best wishes, Amy!
